It's usually recommended to have at least 5 complete cycles, which are each 90 minutes long. So around 7 and a half hours should do the trick. But it's not really an exact science. The younger someone is, the more sleep they need. Which explains why older people sleep only couple of hours a night usually. Guess I forgot to write that down :).
